Aquarius Bar & Grille has the birth story like no other! Debi & Tim, the previous owners of Tower Two Beach Cafe in OB were huge fans of the Ol' Deli that used to be Aquarius. It was a favorite among the entire San Diego community... so when they decided to embark on a new journey & sell Tower Two, they knew which place to go pay a visit to! It turned out that the building had not been used for the 7 years after the Deli closed its doors permanently. No plumbing, electricity, interior design, or any city codes were up to date. It took an impressive two and a half years to rebuild, yet re-imagine the legacy that once occupied this space. With a jaw dropping stage, baby grand piano, white marble bar, and triple the square footage, you can marvel in the wonder of every inch being literally brand new. Though opening in the middle of a pandemic offered several new challenges, we are determined to provide you a safe and fun environment where you can kick your feet up, listen to live music, sip your margarita & watch the sunset on our pet friendly patio!
